The Trail Conference is a nonprofit organization that has been at the forefront of conservation efforts for the past 92 years with a mission to make nature more accessible to the public. More than 1,000 Trail Conference Volunteers donate 70,000 hours of work each year, building and maintaining 1,850 miles of trails.
We also develop and publish high-quality maps and books that provide people with information they need to responsibly access and enjoy the bountiful open space found in this region. We have about 9,500 individuals and 90 organizational members representing 100,000 outdoor enthusiasts.
We are volunteer based and welcome all who love trails and parks and want to help maintain and protect them.
