MTA App Quest New Submission Deadline: Nov. 21

From: user 1.
Sent on: Monday, October 24, 2011 3:05 PM

Hi Everyone,

We hope to soon release a new MTA data set that has been in the works for some time. In order to allow you to explore and use any new data that we are able to release, we're extending the submission deadline for MTA App Quest to November 21 at 5:00 p.m. EST.

In addition, the MTA website now includes machine-readable codes for the official colors of the MTA's 23 subway lines, 11 Long Island Rail Road branches, 5 Metro-North Railroad lines, and E-ZPass. The colors are provided as RGB hex values, as well as Pantone PMS codes and CMYK values.

We'll continue to notify you as data sets are added. Check out all of the MTA data at http://www.mta.info/developers/download.html, and visit http://mtaappquest.com for full details about the MTA App Quest competition.

Thank you,
The MTA App Quest team
