Subject: [Public-Transit-Data-Summit] Exciting open data update

Dear open data advocates,

I'm writing with very good news. I recently met with several people from the
MTA and can confirm that some very positive changes are coming in the not too
distant future. They appear to be on the right track but they haven't hammered
out all the details yet and have asked us to write them a private letter with
the things that we think are most important to get right.

I've written a first draft of this letter, drawing heavily from the previous
letter and other documents this group has worked on. You can find (and edit)
the letter here: http://etherpad.c...

I'd like to send this out by next Monday, so please give feedback and make
edits before Friday, so we can all agree on a final version before sending it
to the MTA.

Thanks to everyone for all that you've done. We're close!
