The IEEE Nanotechnology Council provides a forum for leading researchers and companies to discuss their work, along with networking opportunities for local scientists and engineers

In 2014 and again in 2016, the Nanotech Council was awarded Best Chapter for IEEE Region 6, out of of 200+ chapters in 12 states

In 2014 and again in 2017, the Council was awarded Nanotech Chapter of the Year by the IEEE Nanotech Council (worldwide)
