What we're about

April 28, 2021

This page is undergoing an edit. Below is a very rough draft attempting to describe the group purpose. Please read knowing it's incomplete and needs work. I put it up none the less so as people can get at least a little insight into what the group is about.

It's all love with this super chill and inclusive group. Are you looking for a consistent and reliable fitness hike along with social opportunities? This is your group. We invite all hikers, walkers and even runners to join us.

Our primary missions are fitness & social connections via hill hikes of 1 to 3 hours generally in the Napa Valley. On occasion we will travel to other areas such as Marin or the East Bay. We will be hiking and hopefully sweating with a group of fun, social and supportive people.

All are invited to join and to participate as and when able. But do consider, the driving mission and purpose of the group is to provide relatively constant and consistent program for baseline cardio fitness. This group exists to provide at least 2 or 3 cardio-fitness opportunities/week that also happen to be delivered in the most beautiful settings

Please - adults only, no pets. We love kids and dogs but this group is not the time nor the place. Thanks for your understanding and cooperation.

Please come prepared. In particular, bring your own water. Hikes are generally over an hour, often in hot weather and in the wilderness. Other things you might consider are snacks, hats, sun protection (lotions), wilderness clothing, hike shoes, bug repellent, cash, etc.

Some locations require parking and/or entrance fees. Please be prepared. In particular, Skyline Park in Napa. You can peruse their website for parking fee information.

The organizer DOES NOT facilitate contact between members. Please do not ask the organizer for contact information of other members.
