Winter is a perfect time to get those tools ready for Spring. Let’s get together and learn how to sharpen our shovels, pruners, loppers, and hoes. It is AMAZING to experience the difference of a sharp tool versus a dull tool. Sharp tools are essential for pruning. Dull tools will damage your trees and shrubs.
Class will be taught by retired machinist, and part-time tool sharpener, Jerry Meredith. You will learn about the proper files, lubricants and techniques for sharpening various garden tools. You will leave with at least one, likely more, sharpened tools and the knowledge to keep them that way.
Fee: $20, $10 for TRI Co-op members.
