    PLEASE READ THE DESCRIPTION CAREFULLY BEFORE SIGNING UP. THIS IS THE MODELS ONLY SIGN UP intended to determine the level of interest for this shoot on this particular date. There will be a separate event sign up for photographers once we reach a minimum number (3) of models. If I don't receive this minimum by the end of day Monday the 10th, I will cancel this event and refund any fees paid. Please also note that there is a model sign up fee of $10. This is to assure that those models that sign up are truly interested and hopefully will minimize last minute cancellations and no shows. To received a full refund I am asking that models cancel at least 24 hours before the start of the event to give us time to fill your spot in you cannot attend. Please also note, that I will be refunding the $10 sign up fee on the day of the event to those models that attend. Those models that cancel less than 24 hours before the start of the event will not receive refunds. I reserve the right to waive the fee for models that have had excellent attendance records. This will be a intermediate level photo shoot, however I am willing to include a limited number of beginners. We will be attempting to make some creative images using colored gels and off camera lights, but this isn't the easiest concept to do well. I recommend a minimum of two lights to create good images. I am including a couple of example set ups in the photo sections to provide ideas. I will make available some colored gels suitable for use with standard speedlights. We will be working in pairs. If the photographers can work together and have similar lighting systems (triggers) then the number of lights that each photographer will need to provide may be reduced. We should should have room for about 4 stations (~8 photographers) especially if we plan for portrait or 3/4 length images. A backdrop is not required, however I highly recommend one. I will be setting up one station complete with backdrop and about 4 lights (studio plus speedlights) that will work with the Yongnuo 603/605 trigger system. I will have some Canon and Nikon triggers available for use. I will be sharing my station with up to 2 beginner photographers that may not have lights for this shoot. The other photographers will need to set up their own stations. I may bring along an extra backdrop stand and cloth backdrop if some needs to borrow them. We will renting the entire the studio. I will be limiting this to 8 other photographers and 5 models.

This will give me some time to attempt to get a replacement photographer should you not be able to attend. Photographers, please post a least 2 photos of each model within two weeks of this event.

  • Metallic High Fashion Editorial Photo shoot

    This will be a photo shoot featuring models wearing metallic colored outfits featuring Spike headpieces (optional) designed by Patricia. Please post a comment if you would like to model for this. We will consider past attendance history with this and other groups when making model selections. Models will need to provide their own (metallic) outfit. Please see the sample pictures for some ideas. This event will be limited to 8 photographers and 4 models. I will adjust the photographer spots accordingly based on the number of models that have signed up. Models will rotate from station to station every 15-20 minutes. Photographers will need to provide their own lighting equipment and backdrop. ProCAM does have some backdrops, plus we have access to the white wall and black curtain as well but if you have a backdrop please feel free to bring it. I have a backdrop stand I will bring that can support up to a 9ft backdrop. The general RSVP fee goes to cover the cost of the headpieces and studio rental space. The first 15 minutes will be used for setup and announcements, and the last 15 minutes will be for clean up. If you have any questions about wardrobe, please comment below or PM Patricia. Photographers and models may show up 15 min early to start setting up at 12:30 to set up lights and backdrops and get prepared for the shoot. Participants will be required to sign-in upon arrival. To help keep the studio clean, please be sure to wear the blue shoe covers when walking on the white wall/alcove area as to not damage the paint. Cancellation & Refund Policy: *For Photographers: You will receive a full refund if you cancel at least 48 hours from the event date. If you do change your RSVP, you must post a comment below so I know to issue a refund.
