THIS EMAIL IS BEING SENT TO ALL MEMBERS OF THE NAPLES ACTIVITIES NETWORK AS A GUIDELINE FOR PARTICIPATING IN AND SUPPORTING THE MANY MORE UPCOMING ACTIVITIES.
It's great that the group continues to grow and offer a variety of Activities. Members enjoy the freedon of just going online and finding an event to enjoy with an ever growing group of friends.
ALL THE ORGANIZERS OF THE GROUP TAKE TIME TO PLAN ACTIVITIES FOR THE MEMBERS. IT IS IMPORTANT THAT MEMBERS UNDERSTAND AND USE THE FOLLOWING MEETUP ETIQUETTE TO HELP ORGANIZERS HELP YOU.
RSVP for events
When you receive an email announcement or reminder for an upcoming Meetup, RSVP as soon as possible.
If you RSVP Yes, show up for the Meetup. This is especially important when reservations are required, or attendance has to be limited (i.e. restaurants, home parties) DON'T PREVENT ANOTHER MEMBER TO PARTICIPATE IN AN ACTIVITY IF YOU WILL NOT BE ATTENDING.
If you RSVP Yes, but then something comes up, change your RSVP the moment you know you can't attend. If you don't get a chance to change your RSVP before the event, send an email apology to the Organizer explaining that something unexpected came up last minute, and that you weren't able to change your RSVP before the event.
Please do not attend an activity for which you have not RSVP'd "YES". When reservations have been made for a specific number, you could prevent someone from being seated at the activity.
Who do I contact if I have a question about an event?
If you have a general question not covered in the details, post a comment and any member can respond.
If you have a specific concern, contact the event host. Click the name of the first person listed as event Host and choose "send email"
Who do I contact if I have a question about the group?
Click the "contact us" link under the organizers photo to send an email to the member, "NAN Organizers". That's linked to a group email for doling out responsibilities among Lareen the Lead Organizer; Kevin & Bob the Relations Organizers, Paula the Treasurer, and Marie the Secretary.
