NORDIC POLE WALKING IS A LOW-IMPACT OUTDOOR EXERCISE THAT CAN BURN 40% MORE CALORIES OVER JUST WALKING & CAN BE PERFORMED BY ANYONE ON SOFT OR HARD SURFACES.
It is a huge outdoor sport in Europe & the US now as well. It was originally created as summer training for cross country skiers in Finland.
JOIN OUR NORDIC POLEWALKS (also called POLE WALKING or NORDIC WALKING) ON THE BEACH IN NAPLES, SOUTH-WEST FLORIDA.
We are a diverse group of walkers, including men & women who are interested in active exercises. This is NOT just a stroll on the beach.
SCHEDULED POLE WALKING GROUPS:
SATURDAYS 7:30 A.M. from 14th Ave South Beach Access on Naples Beach to Gordon Pass & back.
TUESDAYS 4:30 or 5:00 P.M. (4:00 pm to 5:30 pm Dezember & January) — depending on daylight savings (November to End of April) from 14th Ave South Beach Access along the Olde Naples to Port Royal Beach.
WEDNESDAYS 6:30 A.M. from Lowdermilk Park to the Naples Pier & back.

Please wear walking-sneakers and light exercise outfits for walking & stretching exercises. We do stretching exercises before, midterm and after our walks. HOWEVER, IT IS YOUR SOLE DECISION TO PARTICIPATE IN ANY OF OUR EXERCISES DURING OUR MEETUPS.
After our Saturday walks, we meet for coffee/breakfast on the beach — with distance due to Covid-19. So bring your own coffee, or pick something up at “Tony's Off Third” on 13th Ave South, just down the street.
