the purpose of the Nashville Linux Users Group (NLUG) is the promotion of, and contribution to, the computer operating system commonly known as Linux, both within the organisation and to the persons of the city of Nashville and its environs.
A Linux User Group is a private, generally non-profit or not-for-profit organization that provides support and/or education for Linux users. The term commonly refers to local groups that meet in person, but is also used to refer to online support groups that may have members spread over a very wide area and which do not organise, or which are not based around, physical meetings.
NLUG now meets in the MRB-III Class Room 1220, on the Vanderbilt University Campus.
The meeting is at 6:00 PM on the second Tuesday of the month.
Parking is available (free during evening hours only) in the East Garage, at the corner of 21st Avenue South and Medical Center Drive.
Use the elevators or stairwells to exit the parking structure onto 22nd Avenue - Medical Center Drive.

Climb the stairwell on the left next to the white building, which is MRB-III.
Follow the sidewalk around to the left into the Stevenson Center Courtyard
