The NPI Social Justice Committee is sponsoring a Meet-up on Friday, March 15, 2019, 12 noon – 1 p.m. The presentation “Resisting Hate: How Vulnerable Communities Are Taking On White Supremacy” will be at the Vanderbilt Law School –[masked]st Avenue South in Flynn Auditorium. It is free and open to the public.
In the wake of the 2016 presidential election, Arjun Singh Sethi, a community activist, civil rights lawyer, and writer, travelled the country and documented the hate diverse people experienced during the campaign and after the inauguration. In this talk, Sethi will discuss his work with survivors and how they remain hopeful and resilient despite it all.
