Hike Distance: 3 - 3.5 mile loop depending on specific route taken
Difficulty: moderate Join the Center for Sustainable Stewardship at Big East Fork for a multiple landscape hike through the Big East Fork property. The proposed loop will begin at the retreat center, skirt along the pond, follow the lower creek trail, cross a field to Big East Fork Farms, follow through the farm fields at Peach Orchard to hilly woods, round through a grassy meadow, and then come back along the same route. Possible side routes include farm trails, the hidden pond, and lake trails.
Please wear comfortable outdoor clothing, hiking boots (waterproof is preferred), and bring food, water, snacks, bug spray, and sunscreen. Please be advised that cell service is limited at the property.

Urban Green Lab, Nashville's nonprofit improving well-being through sustainable living, is launching an Indiegogo campaign (live on July 21st) to fund the operational costs of an important new project - the mobile lab! Our lab, currently under construction, is a sustainability classroom on wheels that will bring much-needed environmental education to local schools, businesses and community events.
