WordPress Social

We will be hanging out and talking about the WordCamp event. There was so much going on I doubt that many of you really had a chance to sit down and exchange thoughts. As well not many people made it out the after-party which means many of you just went home with getting a chance to mingle.

Our goal in having a social this month is so that we do not have to limit the number of attendees. We'd like to give everyone a chance to come out!!

If you signed up for WordCamp and were not able to make it this is your chance to get your t-shirt and swag!

If you have an questions leave us a comment and we'll get back to you.

How does it get any better than this? Great group sharing their wisdom, stories and more. I'm so glad I attended this event!

This is a friendly group. I met some cool people (including a neighbor!) and got some good tips. Hopefully WordCamp folks will come to future Meetups and expand the group. I will attend again.

Not sure if I can make it Tuesday but here is how I picked my theme: My service is copy/content/writing/editing so I searched ThemeForest by "agency" and whatever the newest WP was (3.3 maybe) and also "responsive design" so it would work on mobile devices. From that I got about 60 and narrowed it to 10 and had a designer/developer friend look at them. Saved me days.

Great topic, and I'm pretty sure we are having a talk on this at the WordCamp! Be sure to check out WooTheme and StudioPress as well. ThemeForest has some good work, but they are not regulated on the same scale causing them to have many themes that are sub-par.
