Wildlife abounds at our 612-acre Crow’s Nest Preserve, sustained by woodlands, field and rich riparian habitat resources. Discover natural, springtime wonders on this “Wild Wanders” Nature Walk, guided by environmental educator Molly Smyrl.
Bring binoculars or camera if you have them, to experience wildlife thriving at the Preserve. Migratory birds like warblers, orioles, flycatchers and swallows stake out territory and follow their age-old instincts to reproduce. Foxes hunt in meadows, reptiles bask in the sun, and pollinators buzz around blooming plants, as the Preserve hums with Spring energy.
Dress for seasonal weather and wear sturdy shoes, as trails can be muddy. Event is FREE and open to everyone, no pre-registration necessary. Families welcome; children under age 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Please meet at the Visitor’s Center.
