  • Transcending Genetic Weaknesses With Ancient Chinese Wisdom

    Naturally Organic Healing Center

Each week we will be exploring how to strengthen our genes so our bodies can perform key functions that affect our health and and wellness long-term. Consider your health as energy and that energy is like a bank account. You are the account manager...and you can make deposits or withdrawals. Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is a healing system of Eastern medicine developed in China more than 2,000 years ago, incorporating therapies that are in some cases millennia older. One of its guiding principles is to “dispel evil and support the good.” In addition to treating illness, TCM focuses on strengthening the body’s defenses and enhancing its capacity for healing and to maintain health. It sees the key to health as the harmonious and balanced functioning of body, mind and spirit, and holds that the balance of health depends on the unobstructed flow of qi (pronounced chee) or “life energy” through the body, along pathways known as meridians. During this Meetup gathering, we will be focusing on the traditional Chinese medicine wisdom for specific meridians....including the use of medicinal plants, essential plant oils, and Qigong principles. Qigong is a 5,000 year-old mind-body practice -- as well as an energetic form of movement done to enhance the flow of qi in the body. By integrating posture, body movements, breathing and focused intention, Qigong is designed to improve mental and physical health. It is FREE to attend! Join us for a cup of herbal tea and a fun, interactive conversation. Tell your friends and lets partake in a lovely evening for your body, mind and spirit.

  • Mindset Meditation Online & Replay

    Free Online Webinar

(Keep scrolling for more details.) Each Thursday, I invite you to allow me to guide you through a simple and gentle meditation process of clearing and reprogramming the pattern created by the emotion in the body's cellular memory to release the pattern held in the limbic system of the brain. I will be facilitating these meditations via Facebook Live on my Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/staceyhall1. And, if you RSVP here, you will be sent the link to watch the recording via message here on Meetup.com Expect to feel a sense of inner peace, deep relaxation and/or greater flexibility in the way you handle situations. The American Medical Association (AMA) states 80 percent of all health problems are stress related, and even the conservative Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has stated that 85 percent of all diseases appear to have an emotional element. Each emotion has its own vibratory signature, and when intense emotions are felt, they can become trapped in your body, much like a ball of energy. "These “balls of energy” can become lodged just about anywhere in your body, where they can then cause disruptions in your body’s energy system, which underlies your physical system much like an invisible matrix." -- Dr. Bradley Nelson "Emotions have a negative and positive polarity. We must be able to access both polarities of all of our emotions to be fully alive." -- Dr. Carolyn L. Mein "The body holds emotional patterns regardless of conscious awareness. Sometimes we bury our emotions and they are stored in the body until sufficient pressure builds, producing pain or disease in the area." -- Karol K. • Ashtanga Yoga - Primary Led Class w/ Carrie Sobek

    Naturally Organic Healing Center

    $15.00

PRIMARY SERIES LED CLASS: FRIDAY 7:30-9AM Ashtanga Led Primary is not for learning the Ashtanga sequence or postures. This class is for students with an already established Mysore practice. Ashtanga Led helps to establish the correct rhythm of breath and vinyasa count- when to inhale and when to exhale as we move in and out of the postures. It is an essential complement to a regular Mysore practice. Led class is an opportunity to increase both our internal and external strength, our relationship with the traditional lineage, and surrendering to the method's count and pacing.
