Meetup Description: Thank you Heather for finding this! ... Ohmigosh. Did this movie really turn 10 years old on March 31st? ... I saw this movie six or seven times in the theater when it was first released...

From the Harvard Film Archive calendar:

At the Harvard Film Archive at 7:00 pm the Department of Visual and Environmental Studies (VES) at Harvard University is sponsoring a "Matrix Screening, Free and Open to the Public". Let's grab seats at 6:40 pm. Can't make it then? Let us know so we can save you a seat.

Where to meet:

T.J. Maher will be in The Garage at 36 JFK St, Cambridge, MA at the lower level food court at around 5:40 pm, just past the Ben & Jerry's. There is a Subway that serves sandwiches, there is a taqueria that serves burritos, and there is a Flat Patties that serves good greasy hamburgers. There also is a Crazy Dough that offers specialty slices of pizza on the upper level. We can all walk over at 6:30 pm to the Harvard Film Archive. T.J. is 5 foot 7, with short brown hair, blue eyes a "Hello My Name is T.J." nametag, and a red MEETUP sign attached to his black messenger bag. About the Matrix:

What is... the Matrix? Nobody can tell you what the Matrix is. It is something that you need to discover yourself. Just follow the white rabbit, and go down the rabbit hole. Where will you end up? Do you choose the red pill or the blue pill?

Morpheus: "This is your last chance. After this, there is no turning back. You take the blue pill - the story ends, you wake up in your bed and believe whatever you want to believe. You take the red pill - you stay in Wonderland and I show you how deep the rabbit-hole goes". ( From IMDB, Internet Movie Database: )

Release date: 31 March 1999 (USA)
Runtime: 136 min
