I have a PhD in Biology and a number of years experience doing software and database development in a biotech setting. I'm currently involved with efforts to bring knowledge management and citizen science to the Galápagos Islands and have a personal interest in using imagery for environmental monitoring, including high-resolution panoramas.

What types of projects do you like working on most?

Imagery-related projects, although I'm interested in anything that involves remote sensing.

How did you hear about Nerds For Nature?

KQED article about Mount Diablo Morgan Fire recovery monitoring project.

A recovering molecular biologist, currently interested in the use of imagery for environmental monitoring, and data of all types.
