Trying to do some good in the world but can't get your head around the world of social media? A little bit afraid of technology? Come along and hear how Ruth Brannan went from fearing technology to wishing she could write everything in 140 characters like we do on twitter. Hear how she learns to embrace the power of twitter using her conversational approach to gain support, donations, and momentum while building You Can Bike Too, a local award winning all ability cycling project.

After a few years of focusing social media surgeries, Net2Camb evenings are now back! We are keen to go beyond the one to one support and bring back the community....being around others to be inspired, learn, and make stuff happen together. Let's get the gooders of our world together to figure out how social media and online tools can help us do even more good. Who is it for?
- Do Gooders (whether you work at a charity, not for profit, community group or by yourself, you are working hard to make a positive dent in the world)
- Technology novices (fear not, you are not alone and there is no stupid question!)
- Technology wizards wanting to help others do good (come along and help the technology novices in the room to see what's possible)

The exact format for the evening is tbc very soon but be assured that you will have the opportunity to inspiring stories, ask questions, and chat with others.
