September NetSquared Meetup: Using Technology in Fundraising for Small Nonprofits

Please join us for the September Net2Camb meetup: Using Technology in Fundraising for Small Nonprofits!

When: Tuesday, September 21,[masked]:00 PM

Where: ideaSpace
The Entrepreneurship Centre, 3 Charles Babbage Road CB3 0GT

How can small non-profit organisations and projects leverage web technologies to build a supporter base and raise funds?

Jeremy Parsons is an entrepreneur who is feeling his way into social enterprise. As creator with social enterprise charity Citylife and of the beginspace startup support project, he became acutely aware of the difficulties facing non-profits - and excited by the opportunity to leverage web technologies.

Which turned into a mission to solve that problem, for Cambridge and beyond!

This meeting will be of interest to technologists who want to help non-profits, to non-profits looking to raise funds and mobilise support and needing more than can offer, and to entrepreneurs wondering how the decision to build, buy or partner worked out in a real-life case.

We'll compare bruises and share ideas, and Jeremy will give details of a UK pilot of a best-of-breed service - planned to happen in Cambridge...
