Brendan Rigby, former Director of Venture Support at StartSomeGood, will share how to utilse crowdfunding in your business. He will use real-life examples to explain what makes a campaign successful and how you can avoid making mistakes. Brendan's talk is a must-see for all those planning to use crowdfunding.

Brendan is an education specialist with eight years of experience working as a teacher, researcher and program officer. Most recently, Brendan was an Education Officer with UNICEF in Tamale, Ghana. This year, he is a PhD candidate at the University of Melbourne’s Graduate School of Education. Brendan is studying the literacy practices of out-of-school children in northern Ghana, focusing on Fulani girls as they transition through a Complementary Basic Education program into formal schooling. Brendan is also the Director of WhyDev - a participatory platform committed to getting development right.
