The OpenStreetMap session Thurs Sept 16 is being facilitated by Brian Prangle who is a member of Mappa Mercia, a project to grow OpenStreetMap (a map of the world, created by people like you and free to use under an open license) in the West Midlands, UK which runs community events, provides training and supports local organisations wishing to open up their data.

As a follow-on to similar sessions they ran in March 2015, RAWM, the regional VCS support agency, is offering a number of 2 hour Digital engagement sessions to VCS groups around Open Data and Open Source principles, of which this is the fourth and final one.

I'm tagging this post with the word 'technology' so that it gets included in the Birmingham calendar (https://calendar.birmingham.io/) of all of the technology related meetups happening in Birmingham
