Social media: 'friend' or foe? How to write a nonprofit social media policy
Class #2. In this age of dizzying multiplicity of social media platforms - keeping track of who's saying what about who can be a challenge for anyone. We've recently seen examples of extreme cyber bullying both in the UK and here in the US. If your nonprofit is struggling with balancing freedom of speech with protecting both your reputation and your employees, having a workable social media policy in place can create clear and reasonable boundaries. If hearing from others about their policies, or learning how to create your own is something you'd be interested in then let us know? Particularly if you already have a Policy and would be willing to share your development and implementation process. This event will take place on line in real time.
