We gather regularly to explore an aspect of how technology is being leveraged for social impact projects. We see a big opportunity to share experiences and take action on local and global issues.
We're part of the global NetSquared network of grassroots-organized communities across North America, South America, Asia, Australia and Africa, all exploring social tech tools for social change.
We come from a variety of organization types and diverse disciplinary backgrounds. Among them; social entrepreneurs, large organizations, b-corps, non-profits, angel investors, institutional funders, company founders, technologists, marketers, designers, writers, media makers and beyond.

Crowdfunding is changing the landscape in online fundraising. As more and more donors are being exposed to crowdfunding for products and services, they’ll expect your nonprofit’s fundraising to shift towards those approaches as well. Last year, Forbes reported that 30% of the $5 billion crowdfunded went to social causes. Nonprofit crowdfunding is growing at an exponential rate and can help you get new donors from new audiences.
In this session, you’ll figure out all the nuts and bolts of launching a nonprofit crowdfunding campaign. You’ll learn what works and what doesn’t work, as well as tactical approaches used in crowdfunding that works.
