In the days of social media, newsletters may be thought outdated.
Wrong! Newsletters have their place in building and keeping a core group of stakeholders and interested parties involved, informed and engaged. But they are not simple.
Designing your newsletter layout, choosing a mail Platform and choosing and gathering/creating your content all need careful consideration. Make your newsletter one that is read, not marked as spam, and is something you can sustain and resource in the long term.
Come along and discuss your newsletter problems, ideas and questions, and/or share your knowledge and advice in informal group discussion.
• Anything to do with email newsletters.
(Our anticipated speakers are not available on this date, but several people would like to discuss their email plans/ideas/problems so it should be a useful, lively session.)
About NetSquared lunchtime sessions:
The format for our free lunchtime sessions is:
- 12.15pm: arrive for a cuppa & networking, BYO lunch
- 12.30pm: presentation/ talk/ learning
- 1.30pm: wrap up, informal networking.
Sharing the knowledge
We want to make sure we plan to ensure insights, links and general wisdom are available for later reference. Therefore at each session we will be looking for a scribe and for someone to tweet gems.
