7:00pm - 7:30pm - Guest Speaker Marianne Levitsky, President, Workplace Health Without Borders and Senior Associate, ECOH Management Inc. Marianne will be speaking about her own non-profit Crowdfunding experience and will be taking questions from the audience.
7:30pm - 8:00pm - Guest Speaker Lynx Sainte-Marie, Committee Member, Mixed Art Conference. Lynx will be speaking about Mixed's insights from their very successful crowdfunding campaign.

Apostolos Sigalas is the co-founder of the crowdfunding company, RaiseHope.org. For over a decade, Apostolos has worked in the finance sector, supporting the growth of various start-ups, business expansions and major commercial projects. Apostolos brings with him a wealth of knowledge in entrepreneurship and business financing for a variety of industries including restaurants, real estate development, retail, and e-commerce.

Marianne is an industrial hygienist (CIH, ROH) and Senior Associate with ECOH (http://www.ecoh.ca/) Management Inc. She previously held senior management positions in several Ontario health and safety organizations. Marianne is also on the Board of Workplace Health Without Borders (http://www.whwb.org/), a non-profit organization devoted to engaging volunteers in promoting occupational health around the world.

Lynx Sainte-Marie is a (dis)Abled/chronically ill, Jamaican-Canadian, Non-Binary Gender, Afro+Goth Poet and student who breathes art, social justice, anti-oppression, critical social work and feminism/s that decentralize whiteness & cisheteronormativity. Lynx is the creator of QueerofGender, a grassroots organization and transnational visibility project, celebrating the various experiences of gender within Black, Indigenous and People of Colour communities. Lynx serves on various committees dedicated to disability justice and art as a tool for social change & collective healing, including the Mixed Art Conference, an Un(Conference) providing space for racialized mixed-race folks to discuss their collective experiences through art, discussion and community building. As a writer and performance artist, Lynx tackles issues around identity, isolation and love. As an activist and workshop facilitator, Lynx stresses the importance of spaces where marginalized communities can share their stories – stories often erased from mainstream narratives.
