Scripting and Shooting a video with your mobile
Kia ora Unless I can find a co-organiser, the next Net2Welly session will be after I return from overseas. I'm planning a session - with a great speaker - on scripting and making videos using your mobile. If you'd like to volunteer, I'll sort out the speakers and you just need to host the session - it's not hard and I'll brief you with the details. Email me at [masked]. About NetSquared lunchtime sessions ===================================== The format for our lunchtime sessions is: - 12.15pm: arrive for a cuppa & networking, BYO lunch - 12.30pm: presentation/ talk/ learning - 1.30pm: wrap up, informal networking There is no charge. Sharing the knowledge ====================== We want to make sure the actionable insights and wisdom shared are available for later reference. So at each session we will ask for a volunteer scribe to capture the key points. And please do tweet gems as they appear! What we're about

NetSquared Wellington network (a.k.a. net2welly) is for people in and around Te Whanganui A Tara interested in using web or mobile technology for social good.

Whether you are a community group, a programmer, an individual with a great idea, a philanthropist or a social changemaker, NetSquared is here to help you make connections and create a community around innovating for good.

    Regular meetups

We run a NetTuesday networking event each month. The sessions are great opportunities to learn what others are trying, see successful projects and platforms, hear about developing technologies, make new friends and collaborate on new projects.

Takeaways - Ideas you can use now

Our ideal is that everyone at a meetup hears about at least one idea or tool useful to them. And to help this, we ask presenters to provide links for more information, and ask for a volunteer to take succinct notes. We put these online at www.net2welly.org.nz (http://www.net2welly.org.nz/category/takeaways/).

As well as being part of wider networking events, members are encouraged to run sessions on specialist areas of interest.

NetSquared Wellington is part of a global NetSquared movement of innovators in more than 50 cities around the world. Learn more at www.net2welly.org.nz (http://www.net2welly.org.nz/) and http://www.netsquared.org/Local
