What we're about

Welcome to Nevada County Online, the largest marketing and business Meetup group in Nevada County!

We're excited to bring this group back to life, now under the management of the Nevada County Tech Connection and taking place the first Wednesday of each month from 11:30AM - 1PM at 104 New Mohawk Road in Nevada City!

Nevada County Online was founded by Brenda Tello Horton in 2010, a former Nevada County technology entrepreneur. She created the group to provide ongoing technology training for the local business community.

As we're planning our sessions for the next few months, it would be great if you could fill out this short survey ( so we can make sure to cover the topics that are most important to you.

Effective online marketing and business practices are constantly evolving in today’s digital world. How can local business owners keep up and decide which strategies to adopt? Nevada County Online was created to give Nevada County’s small business owners a venue to learn from experts, network, and share tips and best practices for growing their businesses online. Historically this group has been for online beginners, experts, and everyone in between.

Our sessions will cover topics like branding, web design, content marketing, social media, email marketing, search engine optimization, blogging, advertising, metrics and analysis, marketing technology, sales funnel creation…and more! We’re always open to new session and topic ideas. This is your platform to learn from experts and each other about how to more effectively communicate your stories to the world, attract new customers, and increase engagement with existing customers to keep them coming back for more. Join us!

Stay tuned for new announcements and don't forget to send us your feedback ( about which topics you'd like to see us cover.

And feel free to reach out to the group's facilitator, Jordan Enright-Schulz (, with any questions.
