Come celebrate with NEIII and discover ways to get involved with our work!
Retroactive to August 1, 2018, NEIII now has 501c3 nonprofit status! In advance of expanding our program offerings, we're looking to add one new Board member and a few additional Program Team members to the NEIII crew. Below is more information on the positions and how to apply for consideration:
NEIII is seeking a new Board member who, in addition to assuming fiduciary duty for the organization along with other standard Board responsibilities (https://www.boardeffect.com/blog/board-member-responsibilities/), participates in a hands-on way in NEIII programming and operations. Since NEIII has no paid staff, we rely on our Board members to help us plan and put on events, contribute to program development, and build and cultivate relationships to support NEIII's work. The Board meets quarterly and occasionally convenes via teleconference to plan events.
By serving as a Board member, you will contribute to our work of building a thriving and diverse regional impact investing industry by fostering connections, knowledge sharing, and talent development through NEIII offerings.
If you are interested in being considered for a Board role, please send a brief statement of interest and a bio to Lubna at [masked] by Friday, Sept. 6.
*Program Team member*
Program Team members are volunteers who make themselves available to help with specific NEIII events and other programming. This role is an ideal opportunity for students and young professionals who are eager to get involved in impact investing and would like to broaden both their community of contacts and their knowledge base. The Program Team will likely meet twice per year to discuss NEIII programming priorities and how they can support those priorities.
We are seeking two or three new Program Team members. If you are interested in being considered for a Program Team role, please send a brief statement of interest along with a resume to Lubna at [masked] by Friday, Sept. 6.
