The Festival of Arts & Ideas is a collection of performing arts, lectures, and conversations that celebrates the greatest artists and thinkers from around the world. Each June, the Festival takes over the theaters, open spaces, and courtyards of New Haven. More than 80% of Festival programs are completely free to the public, including events that feature some of the most prestigious jazz, classical, dance, and theater artists in the world.
On Saturday June 15, you have a choice to attend these evening events below. Please note meeting times & locations, and whether events are free or require a ticket.

L’homme Cirque is a one-man circus featuring an innovative combination of acrobatics, music, and dance, including everything from a human cannon ball to a climactic high-wire act.

A select number of tickets for each performance will be available on a pay-what-you-wish basis beginning one hour before the show at the venue box office only. Tickets are available first-come, first-served, one ticket per person: line begins at the tent’s box office on the New Haven Green.
Aaron Neville Concert

Opening Night on the Green is headlined by Aaron Neville, the iconic, multi-Grammy Award winning soul and R&B vocalist, whose new album was released this year. His appearance celebrates the recipients of the State of Connecticut's Governor's Arts Awards, who will open the evening's performance.
The event organizers' phone #'s will not be given out as a way to contact them. This is so they are not interrupted while watching the shows. Please be at the meeting location at the correct time before the show starts.
