What are some of your favorite sci-fi/fantasy books or authors?

Authors--Heinlein, Asimov, Sturgeon, Leiber, van Vogt, Dick, Spider Robinson, many others. Favorite lesser-known writers include Fredric Brown, Wilson Tucker, William Tenn, Henry Kuttner/CL Moore. Am more familiar with 20th century SF than current work in the field. Books--the usual classics. Some favorite obscure novels--*Time Bomb*, by Wilson Tucker; *You're All Alone*, by Fritz Leiber; *Star Rider*, by Doris Pischeria; *Time and Again*, by Clifford Simak. Favorite Heinlein novel--*Beyond This Horizon*. Oh--and Marvel Comics, especially the Lee/Kirby ones, and the Claremont X-Men.

Anything in particular you'd like to read?

Anything and everything.

What are some other geeky (or not geeky!) things you like to do in your free time?

I've just finished writing a 450,000(!) word X-Men fan novel. That qualifies as "High Geekness", if anything does.
