What we're about

Who are we?

We're a dedicated, diverse group of local business owners, entrepreneurs and professionals ready to refer you business and introduce you to our connections.

Our current group is comprised of attorneys, health and wellness professionals, insurance agents, bankers, green energy reps, e-business owners, craftsmen and more.

Is it easy to make meaningful new business referral relationships? Yes and no. Like with anything else, it starts with you. We're already making real money and know the value of our group. We also know growth helps everyone. As the old saying goes, a rising tide raises all boats. That's why we are always eager to meet new like minded business owners. The secret to generating business is that there is no secret. What you may not know is the constructive way to accomplish it, building one relationship at a time. Let us show you how to do it professionally and profitably.

Things you should know

Not all of our group is on meetup. Our current group is about 28 people that meet every week. In the case of inclement weather, we cancel our meetings if New Paltz central schools is closed or delayed. You can check on the New Paltz website (http://www.newpaltz.k12.ny.us) or call (845) 256-4099

Let's make money and grow each other's businesses

Thanks for your interest! Here’s some things you should know: There’s more people at the meetings than ever RSVP, usually around 25 people. So bring some cards for your business and you’ll get a chance to pass them around. There’ll be a table where you can sign in as a guest (we meet in the back of the diner). You will get introduced to the group and then have a chance to talk with other members of the group. We start promptly at 7 AM with “open networking” - it’s like a cocktail hour... but 15 minutes.. and no cocktails.. so really nothing like a cocktail hour, but there’s coffee and you’ll meet people! After that we’ll go around and all the members will have one minute to talk about who they are/what their business is. As a guest, you will get 30 seconds to do so, so it would be a good idea to have a little something about yourself planned to say. Starring blankly like a deer in headlights is also memorable (it happens, we’re here to help), but we’d love to know what you do and who you’re looking to meet. One person will do a 10 minute presentation and another person will do a five-minute question and answer style presentation (these are pre-selected people, we won’t put you on the spot like that). After that, we’ll have “referrals and testimonials” where we get a chance to talk about what we got from the meeting, how awesome we are, and more importantly how awesome other people are. That’s the basic format of every meeting (there is some extra stuff in there, but you’ll get to see how it flows by coming to the meeting). We try to end the meeting promptly at 8:30 so everyone can get where they need to go for the day, but there are usually plenty of us around after the meeting if you have any questions. It is our hope that you leave feeling refreshed and confident, ready to start your day (that’s why it’s early), with less of your own cards in your pocket and more belonging to other people who’ll help you spread your networking wings!
