What we're about

Volusia Buddhist Fellowship's primary dharma teacher, Sensei Morris Sullivan, leads Buddhist services on the first three Sundays of each month at White Sands Buddhist Center. Services include a half hour of meditation, chanting, and a dharma talk. Time is also allowed for questions and discussion. Anyone is welcome to attend. It is not necessary to "be a Buddhist" to practice Buddhist meditation.

White Sands Buddhist Center is a Vietnamese monastery founded by abbot Ven. Khai Thien. Sensei Morris officiates most of the services now, which are mainly in English with some Vietnamese chanting. Dharma talks are in English.

Services are every Sunday at 10:00 a.m. There are other events periodically. Check White Sands' website for more information: https://www.tvct.org/
