ABOUT RECRUITING: Getting to meet other people in your niche in our industry is a nice byproduct of Meetups, however... the events themselves are to be recruiting free. There are many folks signed up to come to this event who are not CQ developers. Please do not treat the event as a time to pass out your business card to every CQ developer in attendance. (I get lots of emails about this from developers and I assure you that overt recruiting at Meetups is not welcome. If we are informed that someone was actively recruiting at the event, we will consider banning that individual in question from future events.) We have asked nicely - you have been warned.

Hi Deepak, you may want to post this question on https://www.facebook.com/groups/AdobeCQ/ as well.

Got a couple of questions on one of the slides, about using too many frameworks for responsive. Question: Am i suggesting not using SASS or LESS. That is not the case, apologize for the poor placement of the bullet. Definitely use one of these methodologies, as they are not responsive frameworks, but more of a development methodology. CQ 5.6.1 now supports LESS 1.3.3

Hi Deepak! Thanks for volunteering as a presenter. Looking forward to learning about the specific choices you made with your CQ setup. Going to pepper you with a couple of questions, as I'd like to hit the ground running with the material you're covering. I'm guessing the test/target "components" are CQ components? What is a target component? The Campaign Management functionality you used is built into CQ? And I'm wondering if you'd be willing to share any slides you might have in advance of the meeting?

      August 26, 2013

    • Deepak N.

Hi Scott, The test/target components are CQ components, we have implemented the campaign management tool which can use the teaser component and the Test&Target MBox component. On the sharing of the slides, it depends on timing, if we can get everything together before the date, i can put it up on slideshare, but we all have day jobs and it might be difficult to get too much of a head start. Sorry.

  • Lukasz S.

Have you tried Adaptive Design with CQ? Ever tried to transform media server side for different view ports (mobile, tablet, desktop)?

    August 22, 2013

    • Deepak N.

Hi Lukasz, yes CQ contains an extensive library of devices that can be exposed via the context cloud, which we used to allow content authors to choose additional device dependent options on components.

We can talk about this at another meetup, we did not do this for the implementation we are going to case study.
