Basics: This will be an Intermediate hike of 8-12 miles, trying for 2mph average pace, several ups and downs and scrambles. Not suitable for beginners, and a bit faster than my past few hikes. We will climb up Mt. Taurus, and play it by ear from there.

We will gather at the end of Main Street in Cold Spring (in front of the Depot Restaurant), then drive/hike to the trail head.

• Hike Length: 8-12 miles, ~6 hours, looping trails
• Difficulty: Intermediate
• Pace: 2 mph

Getting a Spot: RSVP with Yes or Maybe, depending on your level of certainty. Please write in your RSVP if you are driving and can offer rides. And update your RSVP if you can't make it.

Cars: Driving from GW Bridge, take Palisades Parkway (north) til Bear Mountain Bridge – cross bridge and make left onto rte 9D, keep going until village of Cold Spring. Make left on to rte 301 (Main St) and follow it to the end, by the Depot Restaurant. We will meet train people here and shuttle to the trail head. Approximate GPS coordinates are 41.417202,-73.959532. Please aim for 9:45 so we could start as soon as the train gets there.
