Please use a picture showing your face. Some event hosts require it, and it is always helps to recognize people.

Do you understand that these are social events for hikers, and you are responsible for your own safety at all times?

Which types of events interest you: Short day hikes, long day hikes, weekend camping, backpacking, winter hiking, world travel, rock climbing, canyoneering, mountaineering, etc?

Day hikes of 10-18 mi, backpacking, winter hiking, adventure travel , mountaineering

Do you have any hiking experience? If yes, where and what kind of trips? Please provide a brief description of length, duration and trail difficulty as this information helps us better plan events suitable for the group.

Yes. I am an aspiring Catskill 35er, and have hiked several times in the winter and on winter bushwhacks. Longest local 1-day hike for me was in the ADK. 18mi, 6000+ elev. I've hiked up Kilimanjaro and climbed Rainier.

Would you say you're a slow, intermediate, or fast hiker?

Intermediate to advanced. -2mph avg on hilly trails including ups and downs, stops. Faster on a flat trail. I have been training for mountaineering on steep trail carrying 30-35 lb pack, so I have not been going for speed.

I am an outdoor sports enthusiast. I love volleyball, hiking, cycling, skiing and adventure travel.
