Please use a picture showing your face. Some event hosts require it, and it is always helps to recognize people.

Yes I have read and agree to abide. As the Dude does.

Do you understand that these are social events for hikers, and you are responsible for your own safety at all times?

I understand that I am responsible for my own safety always; not just on hikes.

Which types of events interest you: Short day hikes, long day hikes, weekend camping, backpacking, winter hiking, world travel, rock climbing, canyoneering, mountaineering, etc?

I am interested in all that you mentioned above, not that my schedule permits all, but I am pretty flexible.

Do you have any hiking experience? If yes, where and what kind of trips? Please provide a brief description of length, duration and trail difficulty as this information helps us better plan events suitable for the group.

Yes, hiked since I was a little guy, as a teen mostly through Harriman. I have worked on hiking trails in Utah, S. Carolina and Kentucky (the last actually laying out and rough cutting through the forest, the other two were more maintenance and construction). Not really done serious backpacking but have some weekend experience. Enjoy winter hikes as well and welcome the opportunity to have more people to do them with.

Would you say you're a slow, intermediate, or fast hiker?

I suppose intermediate. Have good endurance although a sometimes troubling left knee but I work through it fine. I am quite fit.

I love to be outdoors, kayaking, canoeing, especially hiking. It's nice to see a group like this.
