Leveraging the Internet of Things for Clinical Health Research
Koneksa Health is a platform for continuous patient monitoring, bringing "internet of things" technologies into medical research. The software is used by partners at biotech, pharmaceutical, and academic hospitals/institutions.
In this talk Brenda and Tom will cover how Koneksa uses MongoDB enterprise to capture patient generated and reported data in their flagship application - Koneksa Compare. The talk covers different aspects of the data model, infrastructure and operation of the platform. They will elaborate on how Mongo’s flexible schema and seamless javascript integration made it a good choice for working with IoT devices.

She was previously in a financial sector technology role and college lecturer of introductory programming.
