Everest Base Camp Trek - Kosher compliant

Everest Base Camp

We have had a few requests for Kosher compliant adventure trips and I will be doing an EBC trip in April to meet this demand. We will make special arrangements to serve Kosher compliant food throughout the trail. We would also schedule our climb so as to have acclimatization breaks on Shabbat. The 15-day trek would begin in Kathmandu. We then fly to Lukla and embark on an exhilarating trek to the Everest Base Camp soaking in some of the most magnificent mountain ranges to grace the planet. With our emphasis on safety and comfort, we take acclimatization breaks at Namche Bazaar (3440m / 11286ft) and Dingboche (4410m / 14469ft) before proceeding to the Everest Base Camp at 5364m / 17598mft. No technical climbing is involved and as long as you have a heart for adventure and reasonable fitness, you should be able to enjoy it. For the climbing enthusiast, the optional summits of Chhukung Ri and Kala Pattar should provided added thrills. The cost for this trek is USD[masked] This includes a) Airport transfers in Kathmandu b) Three nights hotel accommodation in Kathmandu with breakfast c) Sightseeing trip in Kathmandu d) Flight from Kathmandu to Lukla and back e) All applicable park fees and local permits f) All lodging and meals during the trek g) Guidance and info sessions by our US based guide in preparation for the trip Nepal visa, international flights to Kathmandu and back, meals other than breakfast in Kathmandu, travel insurance and gratuities are not included.
