Too many did dent groups. Too small a venue. I found the jam packed crowd rather uncomfortable and did not make for an easy way to meet anyone. I was interested in meeting the Seattle Anti Freeze folks and only met 1 who does not even live her in Washington.

I'd agree with previous posters about it being too crowded. Larger venue in the future, perhaps?

I agree as well. I was a little disappointed with the event because I was expecting it to be just the Seattle anti-freeze Meet-up. I was looking forward to meeting everyone from this group and only got to meet one person. I found it very difficult to meet anyone in this crowd last night.

Maria, we will definitely look for a larger venue next time. The problem is the actual attendance of meetup event is usually average 1/3 of the RSVP numbers. A lot of people tend to rsvp but no show and it is difficult for event organizers to predict the actual number of people showing up. But we will try to have a larger venue next time

The event was too crowded, and should have been moved into a bigger place.

Wow, couldn't find the place. New to the area and it seems the place was not very visible off the street. I really wanted to meet everyone. Maybe next time.

I would really like to know just what is up this phenomena of Seattle Freeze. I have never experienced such phony politeness followed with passive aggressivness in my life. Seattle Freeze seems pretty real to me. I thought for a moment that I was losing my mind with what I have been experiencing, But now I come to find that, oh yeah, its a real phenomena here! Well, I am a genuinely warm and friendly individual and a social creature. I would so love to meet some folks who know and understand what I have been going through settling in here in Seattle. Regardless of my experiences with Seattle freeze, I still maintain faith in humanity and the goodness of people.

Mine (and my roommate's) sentiments exactly. We are both new to the city and are fairly well traveled. Not sure what's up with people; we've had funny debates about whether everyone is that cold and boring in their intimate lives or if its just in the face of the general public. Either way we share your optimism in the hope that there has to be plenty of genuine, fun humans here to engage with. Planning to meet and chat with some of you tomorrow!
