Will Young - free gig

Now postponed to 2022! Hopefully Will Young will be rebooked! I’ll update the new date as soon as they announce it (if it goes ahead). They’re trying to rebook the same artists so fingers crossed!

I’ve been to these gigs a few times over the years, always a good day out! Never bought the priority tickets but open to do so if people want to.

We are very excited to announce that Will Young is headlining the second of this year's South Tyneside Festival Sunday Concerts!

The multi-award winning singer, who has an amazing back catalogue of hits including Evergreen, Leave Right Now, Jealousy and You and I, will be heading to South Shields on Sunday 19 July.

With support from Beth Macari.

Admission is FREE, or you could upgrade to a Priority Plus ticket.

A Priority Plus ticket allows earlier access into the event, along with access to dedicated bar serveries and toilets. If you would prefer to arrive later your ticket will still provide you with guaranteed entry, however your viewing position may be more towards the rear of the crowd.

Priority Plus tickets are £6 (under 5s free). They can be purchased in advance up until 7 days before from:
- www.ticketmaster.co.uk/southtynesidefestival or call Ticketmaster on[masked]
- In person at the Shop @ The Word, Market Place, South Shields, NE33 1JF (open Monday - Thursday 9am - 6pm, Friday 9am - 5pm, Saturday & Sunday 10am - 4pm)

Gates open approx. 12 noon for Priority Plus ticket holders and approx. 12.45pm for free entry for which no tickets are required.

You are welcome to bring your own food and drink, but there will be plenty of food outlets and bars in the park too.

We will be carrying out random bag searches as people enter the park. To help speed up the process visitors are encouraged to limit the number of bags they bring, and should leave sharp instruments at home.
