What we're about
The Jumpstart Our Business Startups Act or JOBS Act, is a law intended to encourage funding (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Funding) of United States small businesses (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Small_businesses) by easing various securities regulations (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Securities_regulation_in_the_United_States). It passed with bipartisan (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bipartisan) support, and was signed into law by President Barack Obama (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barack_Obama) on April 5, 2012.
