    Newport Mesa Church

    Attend this unique volunteer event that is part Christian revival and part feeding the hungry and giving drink to the thirsty. Feed the hungry is a free food program for seniors, singles and low income families throughout the cities of Costa Mesa/Newport Beach. We distribute a variety of items the second Saturday of every month: canned food, produce, bread, milk, juice, clothes, furniture and other things. Be the hands and feet of Christ by participating in this event.

  • Christian Outreach Council Meeting and Dinner After

    OUR LADY QUEEN OF ANGELS

    Attend our COC meeting to meet new people, socialize with group members for dinner and attend our meeting to discuss and schedule new outreach events and activities for our dynamic group. The meeting will take place in the lobby area of the parish hall area across the street from the church.

  • Prepare Dinner and Socialize with Residents of the Friendship Shelter

    On Friday, Aug 2, from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm, we'll prepare dinner at the Friendship Shelter in Laguna Beach. The Friendship Shelter provides shelter and supportive services to men and women who are temporarily homeless. We will cook and serve dinner for the people staying at the Friendship Shelter. After volunteering, for those interested we'll go next door to socialize with a bite or drink at the beautiful Laguna Rooftop Restaurant.

  • Prepare breakfast and housecleaning for Olive Crest Young Adults in transition.

    • What we'll do Come and be a part of preparing breakfast and then helping with some housecleaning for Olive Crest teens and young adults who are transitioning out of the foster care system and learning to live independently. We will meet at 9:30 am at an apartment complex in Tustin, bring and fix breakfast for 6-10 teens/young adults, and then assist with housecleaning in their apartments. Breakfast will be in the center hub apartment and the cleaning will take place at a few of the apartments in the complex, where the teens/young adults are living. We will finish around noon. • What to bring Cleaning supplies • Important to know Tim Bauer will be leading this meetup.
