GPS coordinates:

This is an easy hike with a gorge and ledge known as Pulpit Rock. There are a few small hills on the trail, but no major incline or steep terrain...fairly easy to navigate.

The pulpit is only a little over half a mile into the trail. After the pulpit, the trail continues to the historic site of Gage's sawmill, Indian Rock and onto Joppa Hill and Amherst (we won't go that far). We'll probably cover 3-4 miles total...more if everyone wants to go further, less if we do not.

Wear appropriate footwear and bring water and bug spray.
