Let's celebrate "SPRING" with Chinese paper cutting art! (Easy & FUN)

In this meetup, I'm gonna introduce you a FUN way to celebrate spring. We are going to make the Chinese paper cutting art by cutting out the symbol/Chinese character of spring (春).

Chinese paper cutting dates back to 6th Century AD. Nowadays, this folk art form is primarily used for decoration. It is popular for the Chinese people to decorate front door, rooms, offices, etc with paper cuttings shaped as 春 in order to celebrate the beginning of spring and the New Year.

This paper cut is the Symbol of Spring. If you hang it upside down, it means spring has arrived!

                                  **The pyramid version**

You can totally use them to decorate your home!

It's easy! You can do it too!

To make your own Chinese character 春 chun (spring) paper cutting art, you just need:

1. a pair of sharp scissors,

2. a pencil,

3. a ruler,

4.  glue and

5. red square paper

If interested, sign up and come to the meetup with the materials needed (except for the red square paper, I will prepare the right size of red square paper for us).

我期待跟你們見面! I look forward to seeing you!
