What we’re about

This group combines the conscious awareness movement/dance/fitness practice of Nia with  Self-Discovery Retreats.  There will be weekly Nia dance/movement/fitness classes, a variety of Retreats in different locations & occasional social events.  Open to both men & women.

Nia is a fun, dynamic movement practice that leaves you feeling energised and alive. Blending the latest body-mind science with ancient wisdom, Nia educates and inspires you to live and move with embodied Joy.

Nia is a fusion fitness – a dynamic blend of the dance arts, martial arts and the healing arts. It creatively integrates the mindfulness of the martial arts and meditative techniques, the grace and fluidity of the dance techniques, and the awareness and alignment of integrative body therapies.  Nia is danced barefoot & suitable for both men & women.  
Weekend retreats will be offered several times a year & will include Nia classes!  Current topics are Develop Your Intuition and Self-Care, Relaxation & Meditation.

A bit about me:  My name is Patricia but I mostly answer to Trish! I have a background of over 35 years in education and personal development and am a qualified  primary & adult teacher, counsellor & Nia dance teacher.  I have written a range of courses, workshops & retreats ranging from topics such as Happiness, Communication Skills, Self-Care/Relaxation & Meditation to Life Coaching and Developing Your Intuition. I like to help people to lead happier, more fulfilled lives and love motivating and inspiring people.
