Hello, and welcome! My classes are suitable for newbies & beginners. All ages, sizes, abilities, etc are celebrated and supported in a very relaxed & upbeat atmosphere. I prefer to teach to small groups (4-6 peeps) rather than a roomful so that everyone can have adequate space and I can connect on a more personal level. Come as you are- you do NOT have to be happy in order to come to class. In fact, choosing to come when you'd rather hide under the covers could turn that frown upside down ; ).
I'm just me, perfectly imperfect, and full of enthusiasm for being of service, encouraging you to become present with & befriend your body, and empowering you to be more of who you truly be. I hope to assist you in getting out of your head and into your body and heart. It's much quieter there, a nurturing space that loves and supports you exactly as you are. Your willingness to be you really can change the world!
Slow Flow~ Curvy Gentle ~ Restorative~ Nidra~Gentle Deep Stretch~
ALL are beginner friendly, Curvy will offer more modifications and not include the longer series of poses found in the Flow offerings. Restorative & Nidra are all about stillness, relaxation & resetting the nervous system. See more detailed descriptions under posted events. I will add new classes as there is interest!
All classes start out with a short relaxation exercise, followed by a warm-up, series of poses, cool down, final resting pose, and a brief closing sentiment. If you have a mat, bring it. Otherwise, there are mats and props (blankets, bolsters, blocks, etc) available for your use.
I plan to offer some pop-up classes this spring/summer. They might be at another venue or a local (Loveland) park. I am considering some workshops (90 min-2 hrs) and possibly a 4-6 week long series (60 min per class). I'm also planning to add at least 1 donation-based class each month.

This class will include a short warm-up followed by a series of poses that are gentle and held for several breaths. This time allows you to connect with your body and how the pose looks & feels, totally unique to YOU. I always offer modifications and encourage the use of props which will be available. Questions? Please bring a mat if you have one and a water bottle, if you require it. Arrive a few minutes early to sign a release (if you're new) and to pay.
