The goal of the NoCo Rock Climbers Community is to foster relationships among climbers in Northern Colorado. It is the belief that such relationships will lead to a stronger sense of community, more access to partners with similar goals, sharing of knowledge and resources, just plain old more FUN!

NOCO Rock Climbers Guild is a group of people who love to rock climb, practice and enjoy mountaineering, and generally share experience in the vertical and mountain travel of Colorado and the region.

We have a regular Wednesday night Meet Up at Ascent Studios climbing gym in Fort Collins. It’s a great place to meet the group and practice some of your basic skills. We always recommend it, or any other local gym, as a place and time to get to know your belay partner. Most of our members then make outside plans from there. There are quite a number of trips that happen off the regular Meet Up calendar.

We are not guides or trained professionals in the art of mountain safety and rescue. We are individuals who share our love of mountain travel and vertical climbing. We share information and technique based off experience. That being said, we are human and none of the advice given or received should be taken as absolutes.

By joining and/or participating in this group you agree not to hold the group, individuals, or any facilities responsible for any injury. The organizers, facilities and sponsors are not responsible in any fashion for your safety or well-being. When indoors you must follow all gym rules and when outdoors you must follow standard safety protocol. If in doubt about what those are, consult or train with certified guides and mountain training organizations, or check with the climbing gym’s staff or website.

Come join us, meet some new friends, and have some adventures.
