What we're about

Come and join a friendly and benevolent group of people in Fairfax County for monthly discussions of the ideas of Ayn Rand -- the author of The Fountainhead and Atlas Shrugged. We focus on discussing non-fiction works by Rand and other Objectivist intellectuals such as Leonard Peikoff, Harry Binswanger, Peter Schwartz, and Tara Smith. We also occasionally discuss books by non-objectivist writers. Our primary focus is NOT on politics, but on more fundamental philosophic issues.

Our first project is a series of in-depth discussions of Ayn Rand's The Virtue of Selfishness.

Most of our meetings take place on Sunday mornings in locations that are walkable from orange line or silver line Metro stops.

NOTE: Please do not join if you don't live near Northern Virginia or cannot attend at least one meeting per year.
