Cost: $20 payable in cash at the lesson. Teacher Gloria Chen will teach intermediate Chinese conversation and reading. This series is cosponsored by The Northern Virginia Chinese Language Meetup Group.
For those who have had a couple of semesters of Chinese and want to continue studying.
For one hour we will have dialogue practice.
We are currently using the textbook Reading Into a New China (Volume 2), 2nd edition.
As a supplement to the book, learners are encouraged to use the related content that we upload on the (free!) Memrise web site (http://www.memrise.com/course/790556/nova-chinese-meetup/). (Note: we are not currently updating our own course on Memrise since there is an existing course just for the textbook we now use, although it is for a previous edition (https://www.memrise.com/course/219873/reading-into-a-new-china-volume-1/) so the lists will differ very slightly.)
Audio files for each chapter are available at:
We meet almost every Saturday at the Arlington Central Library on North Quincy Street.
