Hi there!This group was created to harnass the power of external accountability, team motivation, and the creation of good habits by bringing together people in the Russian/Nob Hill area who would like to run together in the neighborhood!
This group is not fundamentally focused on improving speed or athletic performance -- but if people in the group want to inspire each other to excel in this regard - go for it and that's great. If not, that's fine too. While improved fitness and athletic performance is probably a natural benefit of forming the running habit people of all athletic abilities are welcome to join. (Although please use your best judgment and check with your doctor if you have any questions or concerns about what workouts are in your best interest given your own health and fitness status.)
